DESCRIPTION:POST-DISASTER BUILDING SAFETY ASSESSMENT TRAINING – focused on earthquake damage in Puerto Rico \nHosted by the MA Architects & Engineers Emergency Response (MA AEER) Task Force \nSaturday February 29 | 9:00 – 5:00 PM | BSA Space |6.5 HSW \nREGISTER \nAEER disaster assistance organization in Massachusetts is offering a Safety Assessment Program Workshop specifically focused on the earthquake damage seen in Puerto Rico last month! Participants in the workshop will be certified to assist the local government in Puerto Rico by performing safety evaluations of the built environment. \nUpon completion\, participants will be able to consistently and safely perform rapid damage assessments and designate structures safe for habitability. Each participant will receive a nationally recognized Cal OES Building Evaluator ID card from the state of CA and two Applied Technology Council manuals for use in the field during deployments. \nParticipants will also receive 6.5 HSW CEUs.   Click here to register now!
