Recipient of Kuhn Riddle award for Student Studies in Sustainability

Project Title: New Student housing for UMass Amherst

Small living units for pairs of students are nestled into the site east of East Pleasant Street. Each unit has ready access to specific gardens and the landscape in general. The house-like units would be constructed with a “kit of parts” adaptable to varying site conditions and sun orientation.
