Student Work Frankie Hill, BFA 2004 Recipient of WMAIA Student Award Project Title: Art Student Housing Project for UMass Amherst The varying topography of this site located east of East Pleasant Street, Amherst, MA provides inspiration for splicing in simple bar buildings of student studios and living spaces. Frankie began her design process analyzing and diagramming the kinds of spaces needed for creative activity. Common Spaces for dining and galleries are nestled in a radiating geometry within a valley on the site. Instructors:
