Project Title: Renovation of a Chair Manufacturing Building, Gardner, MA

A single curving, transforming wall twists its way through the existing brick three level structure forming spaces for a new community center and art gallery. The curving wall inserted evolved from Melissa’s initial elegant studies of the process of chair fabrication, caning, and weaving.
