Metcalfe Associates Architecture Metcalfe Associates Architecture’s 40 years of registered practice now has three Masters in Architecture associates doing many types of projects. In historic preservation, 1.2 million in Preservation Tax Credits will recycle a church/rectory for performing arts. Other preservation is to move the only documented western Massachusetts Under Ground RailRoad building. We are designing a 600 unit vertical village with community spaces to stop sprawl by Transfer of Development Rights preserving undeveloped land into parks, while consuming zero grid use in; energy, wastes and water. We have a project using only site sourced trees for post & beam framing milled minimally for vertical stacking to allow long spans with natural tree forms.
