Metcalfe Associates

Tristram W. Metcalfe III has been practicing for over 37 years. Metcalfe Associates is composed of freelance associates and a permanent staff of two.

We have completed a wide range of projects from residential to commercial and institutional, including renovations, additions, new construction and historic preservation. Having built his own fully active solar heated residence, Mr. Metcalfe is now doing a renovation of the solar collector skin.  He did wind power studies in the 1970’s, and is now researching the development of Vertical Axis Wind Turbines for institutional buildings. This is part of a very large multi-use / historic preservation project, incorporating over 12 buildings for a TV & film institute.
