Firm Profile Kraus Fitch, Architects At Kraus Fitch Architects, Inc. we believe that quality architecture means meeting client needs and building in an ecologically and socially relevant manner. We choose to work on projects that are meaningful to us clustered, affordable housing, municipal and school projects, businesses within village centers - allowing us to address “suburban sprawl” while supporting local towns. The reuse of old buildings for contemporary functions is a challenge we enjoy. Our design approach emphasizes group process and active facilitation, building consensus within communities and building committees. We are nationally known for our extensive experience in cohousing. The buildings designed by Kraus & Fitch are attractive and functional. We seek inspiration from the local environment for our building forms and details. We create healthful interiors through careful selection of materials, and detail our buildings to reduce energy dependence.
